Eastern Viticulture and Enology Forum- March 22

March 22, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm EDT

Free

This monthly webinar series for Eastern growers and winemakers was launched in the Fall of 2019 and continued until April 2021. Organized by researchers at Cornell AgriTech, Virginia Tech Extension, and Penn State Extension, these webinars brought together university researchers, grape growers and winemakers across the country, and the decision was made for staff at the three universities to hold a similar Forum series in 2022. The webinars will cover the latest in research results in viticulture and enology and focus on concepts that underlie the practical aspects of growing grapes and making wine, and they are open to grape growers and winemakers wherever they are located.

The schedule for the remaining six webinars and recordings of previous webinars can be found at: https://blogs.cornell.edu/grapes/home/eastern-viticulture-and-enology-forum where a link connects to the 2021-2022 schedule of the webinars and the unique registration link for each of those webinars.

The following session is currently scheduled and will be held from 3:00-4:30 p.m. (ET)

March 22:

“Variability in Toasting: Implications for Winemaking with Oak,” presented by Dr. Tom Collins, Washington State University.
