Partnership Expands Reach of Andrews Family Vineyards Acclaimed Washington Wine Brands
September 29, 2026 (Woodinville, WA) — Ste. Michelle Wine Estates today announced a new partnership with Andrews Family Vineyards under which Ste. Michelle will serve as the national sales agency and direct-to-consumer provider for Trothe and Sagebreaker, two highly acclaimed wine brands rooted in Washington’s renowned Horse Heaven Hills AVA. The partnership reflects Ste. Michelle’s continued strategy to collaborate with leading wineries and growers while elevating the profile of Washington and Pacific Northwest wines on a national stage.
Trothe and Sagebreaker are the vision of fourth-generation farmer and vineyard owner Jeff Andrews and are sourced exclusively from the Andrews family’s vineyards in Horse Heaven Hills. With vineyard plantings dating back to 1980, the Andrews family has helped shape Washington winegrowing, supplying fruit to many of the region’s most respected wineries, including Ste. Michelle. Andrews Family Vineyards has farmed estate vineyards in Horse Heaven Hills since 1994, focusing on meticulous vineyard management and wines that express the character of one of Washington’s premier winegrowing regions.

Trothe represents Andrews Family Vineyards’ highest expression of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc from estate vineyards in Horse Heaven Hills. Founded on the belief that Horse Heaven Hills can produce wines among the world’s finest, Trothe has earned widespread critical acclaim, including numerous scores of 95-99 points from leading wine publications and recognition among the highest-rated wines in Washington.
Sagebreaker offers a more accessible expression of the Andrews family estate while maintaining the same commitment to vineyard quality and regional character. Inspired by the rugged beauty and farming heritage of Horse Heaven Hills, Sagebreaker is crafted for premium restaurant and retail channels. The inaugural nationally distributed wine will be the 2023 G-41-BDX Bordeaux-style blend.
National Distribution and Tasting Salon Planned for Fall 2026
Ste. Michelle and its distributor partners are targeting a limited national release for Trothe and Sagebreaker in the fall of 2026. Ste. Michelle Wine Estates will lead sales, distributor management, marketing and direct-to-consumer operations to grow awareness and access to Trothe and Sagebreaker in key luxury wine markets.
In December, Chateau Ste. Michelle plans to introduce Trothe through a dedicated tasting salon experience at its Chateau in Woodinville, giving guests access to one of Washington’s most acclaimed luxury wine portfolios while further elevating the Chateau’s collection of ultra-premium tasting experiences.
