Annual collaboration with Pacific Northwest College of Art returns for its 11th year, with new artwork to be unveiled October 9

September 28, 2026 (Dundee, OR) — Argyle Winery, Oregon’s original sparkling house, is pleased to announce the three Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) student artists selected for the 11th annual Art of Sparkling program: Ellie Beaver, Kat Wilkerson and Lee Angelos Valdivia. Created by Argyle and PNCA to support emerging artists, the annual collaboration invites three PNCA students to immerse themselves in the Argyle story before translating their experience into original artwork that will become the labels for a limited-edition three-bottle collection.
Throughout the internship, the artists visit Argyle’s vineyards, winery and Tasting House, drawing inspiration from the people, place and winemaking behind the Oregon sparkling house. The experience offers each artist an opportunity to explore Argyle through their own creative lens while learning more about the winery and its connection to Oregon.
“Art of Sparkling gives us the opportunity to invite emerging artists into our world and see Argyle through their eyes,” said Elizabeth Clark, Brand & Marketing Manager at Argyle Winery. “Each artist brings such a distinct perspective to the program, and we’re excited to see how Ellie, Kat and Lee interpret their experience at Argyle through their work.”
This year’s selected artists each bring a distinct creative perspective to the program. Ellie Beaver, a General Fine Arts student, works across art, design, psychology, biology and philosophy to explore the relationship between science, technology and humanity. Kat Wilkerson, also a General Fine Arts student, works across screen printing, textiles, film and collage, exploring identity, gender and the ways connection shapes how we experience the world. Illustration student Lee Angelos Valdivia, a Cuban-American artist, explores cultural identity, community and nature through digital and traditional media, incorporating experimental stylization, vibrant color and printmaking techniques into their work.
The artists’ completed designs will be unveiled at Argyle’s Art of Sparkling Artist Gallery Night on October 9, an evening celebrating the creative collaboration between Argyle and PNCA. The evening will begin with a gallery hour and bites from Biscuit & Pickles, followed by an artist presentation and unveiling during the second hour, when guests can hear directly from Beaver, Wilkerson and Valdivia about their creative processes. The evening will conclude with a tasting of the new 2026 Art of Sparkling wines.
For more than a decade, Art of Sparkling has brought Argyle’s passion for creativity beyond the bottle, creating a space for emerging artists to connect with Oregon’s wine country and share their work with a wider audience. The 2026 collection continues that tradition, celebrating the distinct perspectives of three artists while highlighting the creative connection between Argyle and PNCA.
