For the past eighteen years, wine professionals from every corner of the world have been traveling to Amsterdam to attend one of the most critical annual events for producers and buyers of bulk wine and spirits across all sectors of the global marketplace.
The World Bulk Wine Exhibition (WBWE), being held in Amsterdam November 30 & December 1, 2026, is the premier platform for market intelligence and analysis of one of the wine and spirits industry’s most strategic segments.
“With 240 exhibitors and more than 2,000 attendees, WBWE has representation from between 70 to 80 percent of the entire bulk wine marketplace,” confirms Caterina Tucci, WBWE Director. “With producers and buyers from Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, the U.S., Chile, Argentina, Africa and others, this single event is credited for bringing together all the chain logistics into one convenient international space.”
Noting that bulk wine exports fell by more than 10 percent in volume and nearly 12 percent in value last year, Tucci points to the unique adaptability of bulk wine products themselves to address the profound structural shifts currently at play within the industry.
WBWE’s 2026 exhibition features the Academy, where conferences, panel discussions and masterclasses offer attendees insights into the forces transforming the market.
In addition, a new hybrid space has been created at the center of the exhibition floor to enhance market perceptions and conversations – and 10 different sessions will feature international experts to discuss key topics, such as the no/low alcohol trend, industry resiliency and profitability and value creation through branding, packaging and storytelling.
Central to the WBWE highlights this year is the International Bulk Wine Competition, which will bring together 20 international judges to taste and award the bulk wine and spirits entries on November 29, the day before the exhibition opens. Last year’s competition recognized 39-medal winning wine and spirits from 10 different countries including four Grand Gold medals, illustrating the diversity of origins and styles honored by the competition.
Entries for this year’s competition will be accepted from mid-September to November 9, 2026.

“We are excited that WBWE facilitates so many new relationships across the industry spectrum,” Tucci attests. “This exhibition makes it possible to meet people who have what you want to buy and to buy what you have. It’s a place to combine your business with your buyers and your clients, a forum to create and encourage new directions through new relationships.
“We’re eager to see what emerges this year.”
