September 15, 2026 (Los Angeles, CA) — Franciacorta raises a glass to the winners of the 78th Emmy® Awards while celebrating its sixth consecutive year as an official partner of one of the world’s most prestigious celebrations of television excellence. Held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the Emmy Awards culminated in the iconic awards ceremony and the traditional Governors Gala, bringing together winners, nominees, leading figures from the television industry and distinguished international guests.
The Emmy Awards ceremony, telecast around the world, honored the productions, performers and industry professionals who distinguished themselves over the past television season, including The Pitt, named Outstanding Drama Series; Widow’s Bay, winner of Outstanding Comedy Series; and DTF St. Louis, named Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, alongside acting winners Noah Wyle for The Pitt, Rhea Seehorn for Pluribus, Matthew Rhys for Widow’s Bay and The Beast in Me, Jean Smart for Hacks, and Sally Field for Remarkably Bright Creatures.
Over the years, Franciacorta’s partnership with the Emmy Awards has evolved into a unique opportunity to foster dialogue between the international entertainment industry and the excellence of Made in Italy. This year’s celebration was further enriched by the presence of distinguished guests hosted by Franciacorta, including Italian actress and musician Beatrice Grannò, actress and producer Marta Pozzan, American actress and producer Caylee Cowan, and celebrity makeup artist and beauty entrepreneur Patrick Ta. Among the highlights of the 78th Emmy Awards was the private dinner hosted by Franciacorta on September 13 in Los Angeles. The event provided an exclusive opportunity for networking and exchange among guests from the worlds of entertainment, culture, media and international business. It also offered the perfect setting to showcase the Franciacorta territory, the appellation’s winemaking heritage and the values that have made Franciacorta one of the most recognized symbols of Italian excellence worldwide.

Reflecting Franciacorta’s increasingly international outlook, its presence in California will continue beyond the Emmys red carpet. On September 16, Los Angeles will host a new edition of the Franciacorta Festival, an event dedicated to trade professionals, journalists and wine enthusiasts, designed to showcase the many expressions of the appellation and further strengthen the relationship between Franciacorta and the U.S. market.
The Franciacorta Consortium is the organization responsible for guaranteeing and overseeing compliance with the production regulations governing Franciacorta, the first Italian wine produced exclusively using the traditional bottle fermentation method to be awarded DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) status in 1995. The Consortium’s activities encompass the protection of the appellation and its territory, the continuous enhancement of the product through the development of its production regulations, consumer education, and the promotion of Franciacorta as the expression of a unique territory, a distinctive wine and a production method. Founded on March 5, 1990, the Consortium is headquartered in Erbusco, in the heart of Franciacorta. It is chaired by Emanuele Rabotti and represents 120 wineries.
