September 8, 2026 (Florence, Italy) — Enopolitik, a wine-centric event series with a geopolitical twist, is headed to Italy following a recent stateside soft launch. This October, Tuscany will set the scene with two more milestones on the road to an official launch in 2027—with more detail coming soon.
Hosted by wine producer and importer Stephanie Cuadra, next month’s program welcomes back guest speaker Ragini Gupta, former U.S. Consul General in Florence, with a private event on October 1st at Palazzo Tornabuoni featuring Querciabella wines. The evening will include a guided tasting and substantive discussion of global affairs—offering the international community at the 15th-century Florentine palazzo an early, intimate introduction to Enopolitik: a growing series of encounters where wine opens the door to real conversation about the world.
A second gathering will take place at Palazzo Saloni, in the historic center of Montalcino, on Saturday, October 3rd at 7:30 pm, with a curated tasting menu featuring elevated Tuscan cuisine alongside the world-renowned wines of Argiano—an estate representing five centuries of viticultural heritage. The guest of honor, Bernardino Sani, winemaker and CEO of Argiano, brings personal stories behind each pour to the table. Part wine dinner, part geopolitical symposium, the Montalcino edition is an open invitation to those curious about world affairs and citizen diplomacy, enophiles seeking real insight into the wine industry, and people looking for a convivial experience that is as enjoyable as it is meaningful.
