Yountville Raises a Glass to Happy Hour with Walkable Sips, Bites and Live Music

Napa Valley destination offers a weeklong lineup of cocktails, wine, oysters, tacos, burgers and live music

August 24, 2026 (Yountville, CA) — Happy hour has found its place in the heart of Napa Valley. In Yountville, visitors can enjoy an inviting lineup of afternoon and early-evening experiences that pair wine, cocktails and creative bites with live music, outdoor patios and Yountville’s famously walkable charm.

With happy-hour options available every day of the week, Yountville makes it easy to turn an unplanned afternoon into a memorable evening. Many of the town’s popular spots are located along or near Washington Street, allowing visitors to park once and explore on foot.

From $10 cocktails and pizza to oysters and bubbles, tacos and tequila, burgers and beer, and afternoons accompanied by live music, there is a happy hour to suit nearly every mood.

“Yountville is known around the world for exceptional food and wine, but there is also a wonderfully relaxed side to the town,” said Yountville Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Natalie Leighton. “Happy hour captures that spirit perfectly – come as you are, enjoy something delicious, listen to some music and see where the afternoon takes you.”

A Happy Hour for Every Day of the Week

North Block Restaurant offers one of the easiest ways to enjoy happy hour in Yountville, with its “Happiest Hour” available daily from 3 to 6 p.m. Guests can enjoy cocktails, wine, pizza and shareable bites at the bar, courtyard or Washington Street patio. Thursdays add live music from 4 to 7 p.m.

At Lucy at Bardessono, each week brings a different reason to visit. Mondays feature “Yappy Hour,” when guests can bring their dogs to the patio and, with the purchase of two drinks, receive a complimentary item from the Barkessono menu. Tuesdays spotlight oysters paired with brut, rosé and prestige bubbles, while seasonal Thursdays bring tacos and tequila featuring tequila and mezcal-based cocktails alongside chicken, beef and shrimp tacos.

For a more casual experience, Burgers & Half Bottles pairs American favorites including burgers, lobster rolls, fried chicken sandwiches, fries and milkshakes, with wine and beer. Thursdays feature complimentary corkage all day for up to two bottles of wine, while Friday’s happy hour runs from 3 to 5 p.m. with half-price wines by the glass and pints of beer.

Friday afternoons take on a distinctly Napa Valley feel at The Coop by Hoopes, where happy hour runs from 3 to 6 p.m. Summer live music takes place from 4 to 6 p.m., with $10 wines by the glass and frosé, $15 wine flights and rotating small plates. The relaxed outdoor setting also includes an organic farmstand featuring fresh produce and farm eggs.

Meanwhile, RO Restaurant & Lounge offers a polished happy-hour experience Wednesday through Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m., featuring bubbles, wine, creative cocktails and Asian-inspired bites. Friday evenings continue with live music from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Finally, Birdie Yountville at Vintners Golf Club offers a daily happy hour from 4-6 p.m., featuring small bites and $2 off draft beers complete with golf course views.

An Invitation to Stay Awhile

Yountville’s happy-hour scene reflects the destination itself: sophisticated without being stuffy, culinary-driven without sacrificing fun, and easy to explore at a leisurely pace.

Visitors can begin with a glass of wine, wander down the street to settle onto a patio for a bite and finish the evening with live music – all without needing to move the car.

Happy-hour schedules, menus and special offers may change or be seasonal. Visitors are encouraged to confirm current details directly with individual businesses before visiting.
