June 10, 2026 (Paso Robles, CA) — ONX Wines is pleased to announce the appointment of Tucker Robertson as Vineyard Manager and the promotion of Drew Nenow to Head of Winegrowing & Winemaker, reinforcing the winery’s long-term commitment to organic farming, and the pursuit of exceptional Paso Robles wines.
These leadership additions mark an important milestone in ONX Wines’ evolution and reflect the growing integration between the winery’s vineyard and cellar teams. Together, Robertson and Nenow will oversee all aspects of winegrowing across ONX’s estate properties in the Templeton Gap and Willow Creek districts.
Over the past three years, ONX Wines has undertaken organic farming practices across both the ONX Estate Vineyard and Kiler Canyon Vineyard. Through thoughtful stewardship, reduced inputs, increased biodiversity, and a commitment to building healthier vineyard ecosystems, the estates have embraced a farming philosophy rooted in long-term sustainability and vineyard resilience.
“Our vineyards are the foundation of everything we do,” said Drew Nenow, Head of Winegrowing & Winemaker. “The progress we’ve made over the last three years in transitioning our estate properties to organic farming has been remarkable. Bringing Tucker into this role strengthens our ability to continue that work while further elevating the quality and character of our wines.”
Robertson brings both technical expertise and a deep personal connection to Paso Robles. A Southern California native, he spent summers at nearby Lake Nacimiento and developed an early appreciation for the region through family visits to Paso Robles tasting rooms.
“Some of my earliest memories of Paso involve spending time with my family on the lake and then exploring wineries throughout Adelaida and Willow Creek,” said Robertson. “It’s incredibly rewarding to now be part of a team helping shape the future of winegrowing in a place that has meant so much to me for so long.”

Robertson earned a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Iowa State University, specializing in Land and Water Resources, while also playing five seasons as a Defensive End for the Iowa State Cyclones football program in the Big 12 Conference. His academic background fostered a lifelong interest in biological systems, agronomy, soil health, and sustainable agriculture.
After relocating to California’s Central Coast in 2022, Robertson immersed himself in Paso Robles viticulture, working throughout some of the region’s most respected westside growing areas, including Willow Creek, Adelaida, and the Templeton Gap. He has worked on ONX vineyard properties in various capacities since the 2022 vintage and enters his fifth season with the estate in 2026.
A passionate advocate for organic farming and soil biology, Robertson earned his designation as a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) in 2025 and is also the owner and operator of a commercial organic vermicompost business focused on producing high-quality worm castings for agricultural applications.
“Tucker brings an exceptional combination of scientific curiosity, practical vineyard experience, and genuine passion for regenerative agriculture,” said Nenow. “His understanding of soil health, ecosystem management, and organic farming aligns perfectly with where ONX is headed.”
Robertson’s appointment comes at a pivotal time as ONX continues to expand its investment in organic farming practices across its estate vineyards. His leadership will help guide the next phase of vineyard development while supporting ONX’s mission to express the unique character of Paso Robles through healthy vines, thriving soils, and responsible land stewardship.
Together, Robertson and Nenow will continue building upon ONX Wines’ commitment to estate-driven excellence, ensuring that every decision in the vineyard contributes to wines that authentically reflect the people, place, and farming practices behind them.
