October 16, 2026 (Milano, Italy) — Guala Closures, a global leader in specialty beverage and pharmaceutical closure solutions, today announced that it has reached an agreement with G3 Enterprises, a leading provider of packaging, logistics, and supply chain solutions to the wine, beverage, and agricultural industries, to acquire the majority of the production equipment from G3’s aluminium screwcap wine business. The acquisition reinforces Guala Closures’ industrial footprint in North and Latin America and deepens its long-standing relationship with the wine and spirits industries, supporting Guala Closures’ strategy to serve customers closer to where they need it most.
The majority of the acquired equipment will be installed at Guala Closures’ newly acquired facility in Rosarito, Mexico, expanding local production capacity and enabling faster, more efficient service to customers across the United States and Latin America. The additional capacity will enable Guala Closures to respond to growing demand from wine and spirits producers, while supporting greater supply chain resilience, creating shorter lead times for customers throughout the Americas and a high level of service for customers across the region. The acquisition forms part of Guala Closures’ broader strategy to strengthen its presence in North and Latin America, bringing production closer to customers and investing in the capacity required to support their long-term growth. As part of the agreement, Guala Closures will also become a key screwcap supply partner to G3, which will continue to serve its customer base in a distribution capacity. This arrangement allows G3 Enterprise’s existing customers to continue benefiting from closure solutions, now backed by Guala Closures’ manufacturing scale, technology and quality standards, while G3 Enterprises will focus on its distribution and customer relationship strengths.
