Caymus Vineyards and Reyes Beverage Group Announce New Distribution Partnership in Key U.S. Markets

Napa Valley winery to transition distribution in Arizona, Louisiana, Maryland, Oklahoma, Texas and Washington, D.C. to Reyes Beverage Group

June 2, 2026 (Rutherford, CA) — Caymus Vineyards, founded in Napa Valley by the Wagner family in 1972, announced a new distribution partnership with Reyes Beverage Group (“RBG”) in the Arizona, Louisiana, Maryland, Oklahoma, Texas and Washington, D.C. markets.

Following RBG’s recent acquisition of certain Republic National Distributing Company (“RNDC”) operations, RBG will assume distribution responsibilities for Caymus in these six regions.

“For more than five decades, our family has remained committed to making wines that reflect the character, quality and excellence of Napa Valley and other parts of California,” said Chuck Wagner, owner and winemaker of Caymus. “As a family-owned winery, we place great value on partners like RBG who understand the importance of long-term relationships, consistent execution, and service that supports both our trade customers and the people who enjoy our wines.”

In these markets, RBG will help Caymus and Wagner Family of Wine maintain strong service for restaurants, retailers and consumers while supporting the winery’s long-standing relationships across the trade.

“Reyes Beverage Group and Caymus share a deep respect for family ownership and a relentless commitment to excellence,” said Tom Day, Chief Executive Officer of RBG. “We’re excited about what we can accomplish together and the opportunity to bring exceptional wines to customers and consumers through a partnership rooted in shared values and ambition.”

Founded in Rutherford, Napa Valley, Caymus remains 100% family-owned and operated by Chuck, Charlie and Jenny Wagner, who continue to carry forward generations of farming and winemaking tradition. Best known for their Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, the Wagners now produce a collection of wines that reflect their ongoing exploration of California. Operating under the umbrella Wagner Family of Wine, the family’s brands include Caymus, Conundrum, Mer Soleil, Emmolo, Sea Sun, Bonanza, Caymus-Suisun and Red Schooner.

About Caymus Vineyards
Chuck Wagner and his late parents, Lorna and Charlie Sr., started Caymus Vineyards in 1972. They were a family of farmers who worked together for decades to create a signature style of Cabernet Sauvignon. Today, the family’s offerings of Cabernet Sauvignon are among the country’s most celebrated wines.

Chuck now works alongside two of his children, Charlie and Jenny, and the family continues to explore different parts of California in their farming and winemaking. Continually pursuing new ideas, they feel extremely fortunate to spend their days farming grapes and making wine.
