A Preview of the Industry’s Leading Bar & Beverage Event

May 12, 2026 (New York, NY) — Bar Convent Brooklyn (BCB Brooklyn) returns to Industry City on June 9 and 10, 2026, bringing together the global bar and beverage community for two days of education, product discovery and industry connection, shaped by the pace, proximity and energy of New York. Now in its eighth year, the event continues to evolve alongside the needs of today’s hospitality professionals, with expanded programming, new exhibitors and a growing emphasis on interactive experiences across the show floor and beyond.
A Growing Exhibitor Base and New Product Innovation Across the Show Floor
BCB Brooklyn 2026 continues to expand its exhibitor footprint, welcoming over 200 brands, including more than 80 first-time participants. This growth reinforces the event’s role as a key entry point for brands to connect with the global bar and hospitality community, while providing attendees a broader landscape for discovery. From established producers to emerging companies, the show floor reflects the categories shaping today’s industry, including spirits, mixers, ready-to-drink beverages, barware and operational solutions.
BCB Brooklyn has also become a platform for product innovation, with brands debuting new offerings to the trade. This year, exhibitors including Chinola Fresh Fruit Liqueurs will introduce its fourth premium expression, a new tropical flavor expanding its low-ABV lineup crafted from 100% fresh fruit, while Badger Bevs expands its premium mixer portfolio with Cucumber Celery and Yuzu Lime – alongside additional announcements to come from brands across the show floor. These debuts reinforce the event’s role not just as a marketplace, but as a moment for industry advancement and product storytelling.
Expanded Education Across Stages and Interactive Formats
Education remains central to BCB Brooklyn, with a multi-stage program designed to address both the creative and business sides of the industry. The Main Stage, curated by the BCB Brooklyn Education Committee, will feature conversations with leading voices across hospitality, exploring topics ranging from leadership and culture to evolving consumer behavior. Park Street University returns with a focus on the business of spirits, covering distribution, compliance and growth strategies; the new Workshop Stage offers hands-on sessions to build practical skills across content creation, operations and behind-the-bar techniques; and Liquid Lounges provide more intimate, brand-led experiences, blending demonstrations, tastings and technical deep dives into emerging categories and cocktail techniques.
Spaces for Connection and Discovery
Extending beyond the education stages, a series of thoughtfully planned spaces and programs create opportunities for conversation, exchange, and industry insight throughout the show. The BCB Borough Lounge brings this to life as a Brooklyn-inspired hub for gathering and recharge, featuring a photo wall, the BCB Brooklyn Product Showcase, and an interactive screen where attendees can access the BCB Brooklyn NOW platform to easily navigate the show. Designed as a comfortable, come-and-go environment, the space will also host light activations and surprises throughout the day, creating natural moments to connect, reset, and discover between sessions.
The BCB Brooklyn VIP Lounge, located in the Game Room at Industry City (Building 6), will be open across both days for VIP Club, VIP+ and Premium VIP badge holders. Serving as an all-day destination to refuel and reconnect, the space will host coffee and badge pick-up in the morning, light bites, curated tastings from Beluga Vodka and CleanCo, and exclusive show floor tours.
The Brand Accelerator Pitch Competition, presented by Women of the Vine & Spirits®, will take place on June 10 at 4:30 PM, providing a platform for emerging beverage brands to present to a panel of industry leaders. More than a live pitch, the competition connects early-stage brands with decision-makers and resources to support their next stage of growth, while offering attendees a close-up look at the ideas shaping the category’s next wave.
Running both days at Booth 7-BE-702, Authors Alley, presented by Lofty Pigeon Books, features a rolling schedule of 24 book signings and conversations spanning cocktail culture, spirits history and the sober-curious movement, offering a quieter, more editorial moment and opportunity to meet the authors.
Courtyard Energy, Brand Takeovers & Live Programming
Industry City’s outdoor courtyards will once again transform into high-energy activation zones, bringing together immersive brand experiences, live programming and community-driven moments across both days of the show.
At the center of it all is Courtyard Bar East, 7/8 Courtyard operating across both days with a rotating lineup of New York City’s top bartenders, taking over the bar in guest shift-style appearances – including BCB Brooklyn’s Head of Education & Speed Rack co-creator Lynnette Marrero, Carl Radke, CEO, Founder, & Owner of Soft Bar + Cafe, Gelo Honrade, Founder and Beverage Director of After Eden, and more. The program brings the energy of a live NYC bar to the show, offering a real-time snapshot of the talent shaping the city’s cocktail culture.
Also taking place at Courtyard Bar East in the Courtyard 7/8, Pride on the Pour will spotlight LGBTQIA+ voices within the hospitality industry through a vibrant, community-driven gathering on June 10 from 12:15 to 1:45 PM. In partnership with the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative, the activation will feature pours from a Stonewall Inn bartender alongside a curated cocktail menu spotlighting LGBTQIA+ owned and advocacy-driven brands, inviting attendees to sip, mingle and celebrate in a space rooted in both industry connection and New York Pride history.
Just steps away, the Garnish Garden offers an interactive, ingredient-led experience. Open both days, it invites guests to pick fresh herbs and botanicals to customize their cocktails after visiting Courtyard Bar East, alongside a swing installation for photo moments and additional spaces designed for exploration and discovery.
Also debuting this year, Citrus Social will take place on June 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, serving as a high-energy close to Day one. Bright, zesty, and built for the bar and beverage world, the activation draws on one of the industry’s most essential flavor palettes, blending citrus in all its forms with Brooklyn’s creative, street-festival energy. Guests can expect citrus-inspired street food and refreshments, interactive experiences such as face painting and caricature drawings, unexpected pop-ups, and a live set from Brooklyn native DJ FRiTZo, all set within a lively, social atmosphere designed for connection and celebration.
Culture & Wellness Moments
Throughout both days, the courtyard will host “Between Shifts,” a series of wellness-focused sessions led by New York-based bartender and yoga instructor Samantha Casuga. With scheduled sessions throughout the day, including breathwork to start the morning, yoga-inspired movement to re-energize and guided meditation to wind down, the program offers all attendees an opportunity to pause, reset and recharge, introducing a mindful balance to the pace of the show.
