May 1, 2026 (New York, NY) — Skurnik Wines & Spirits, a leading importer and distributor now in its 39th year, is pleased to announce the expansion of its partnership with Willett Distillery into Indiana, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Distribution began in Indiana on April 1, with Willett products becoming available through Skurnik in New Jersey on May 1 and Connecticut in the fall.
Founded in 1936, Willett Distillery has built a reputation for producing some of the finest small-batch bourbon and rye whiskeys, revered by connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike for their depth of flavor and historical significance. Its portfolio includes Willett Pot Still Reserve, Willett Family Estate Bottled Bourbon and 4 Year Rye, Willett Family Pure Kentucky XO and Kentucky Vintage, Noah’s Mill, Rowan’s Creek, Johnny Drum Private Stock, and the Old Bardstown line.
David Skurnik, President of Skurnik Wines & Spirits, commented on the continued expansion of the partnership: “In 2024, we enthusiastically began a partnership with Willett in New York. Since then, our representation of their fantastic bourbons and whiskeys has expanded into Pennsylvania, Ohio, and their home state of Kentucky. The most recent addition of Willett to our Indiana, New Jersey, and Connecticut portfolios marks an exciting new chapter for us as close collaborators with the Kulsveen family, now in seven of our nine direct markets.”
Drew Kulsveen, Master Distiller, Willett Distillery, said, “We are very intentional with whom we entrust our family’s whiskeys to. As an independently family owned and operated business, there is nothing more important to us than shared values, authenticity and transparency. We are abundantly fortunate to have found a partner in which we are equally aligned in all of these aspects, which has made the decision to further our commitment and expand with Skurnik an easy one.”
About Willett Distillery
Established in 1936, three short years after prohibition, the Willett family chose the original family hog and cattle farm, situated at one of the highest points in Nelson County, Kentucky, to begin construction on the Willett Distillery. By St Patrick’s Day 1937, the first barrel of whiskey was rolled into Warehouse A. Celebrating their 90-year anniversary this year, Willett continues to make fine Kentucky Bourbon and Kentucky Rye Whiskeys, and remains 100% independently family-owned and operated, honoring the memories of Even and Martha Kulsveen.
