A new proposal for the retail channel that interprets the Italian winemaking tradition through a contemporary lens

April 10, 2026 — On the occasion of Vinitaly 2026, Follador introduces PROSECCO by Follador, a range specifically designed for the retail channel, created with the aim of bringing a broad audience closer to the world of Prosecco through a style that is accessible, distinctive and deeply inspired by the Italian winemaking tradition.
Produced from grapes grown on the lowland vineyards, outside the historic Prosecco area, PROSECCO by Follador expresses Italy’s wine heritage through a contemporary approach attuned to international tastes. The result is a wine that is immediate and approachable, conveying conviviality, lightness and elegance, values long associated with Made in Italy.
“On the occasion of Vinitaly, we are introducing PROSECCO by Follador, a wine that is immediately recognisable and able to express conviviality and Italian style from the very first sip,” says Cristina Follador, Sales & Marketing Manager. “With this new range, our aim is to reach a broader audience through a contemporary approach that reinterprets the Prosecco tradition, designed for international consumers who value both quality and accessibility. The objective is to offer a clear, consistent proposition for those seeking a Prosecco that combines enjoyment, authenticity and a strong sense of identity.”
The range includes three distinct interpretations: PROSECCO DOC BRUT, PROSECCO DOC ROSÉ MILLESIMATO BRUT and PROSECCO DOC EXTRA DRY, each offering a distinctive expression of freshness and balance.
Prosecco DOC Brut
Pale straw yellow in colour, it opens with fresh, fruit driven aromas. On the palate it is dry, clean and well balanced, designed for those who appreciate a crisper style. Made from 100% Glera grapes vinified as a white wine, it stands out for its lively character, enhanced by its low residual sugar.
Prosecco DOC Rosé Millesimato Brut
Elegant in its delicate pink hue, it is produced from a blend of Glera (89%) and Pinot Nero (11%). On the nose it shows notes of peach and small red berries, while the palate is fresh, balanced and pleasantly dry. Separate vinifications, white for the Glera grapes and rosé for the Pinot Nero, define a refined and harmonious profile.
Prosecco DOC Extra Dry
Light straw yellow in colour, it is characterised by the fruit forward aromas typical of Glera. On the palate it is soft and harmonious, with a gentle sweetness that enhances its versatility. Gentle pressing and a moderate alcohol level (10.5%) ensure a fresh and enjoyable balance.
A collection that embodies a lifestyle inspired by La Dolce Vita: spontaneous, refined and authentically Italian, where the pleasure of being together finds its fullest expression.
Considerable attention has also been paid to the visual identity, a key element of the project. The logo, featuring the figure of a man, references a symbolic character embodying solidity, experience and a strong work ethic. It represents a clear tribute to artisanal know how and to the deep connection between land and wine, values at the heart of the Italian winemaking tradition. This visual identity speaks naturally to the present day, expressing a brand capable of bringing together heritage and innovation. The man’s proud gaze conveys authority, authenticity and vision, offering consumers not merely a product, but a clearly defined world of reference shaped by taste, style and a culture of living well.
With PROSECCO by Follador, the Veneto based winery offers a choice that brings together tradition, accessibility and strong commercial appeal, responding coherently to the needs of a modern, dynamic and international retail market.
PROSECCO by Follador will take centre stage at Vinitaly 2026 at the Follador stand (Hall 5, Stand D4), where visitors will have the opportunity to discover and taste a range that tells the story of Italian wine through a contemporary, elegant and immediately recognisable language.
About Follador
Follador is one of the emblematic wineries of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1769, when the Doge of Venice recognised the quality of the wines produced by the family’s ancestor, Giovanni Follador.
