From Los Angeles to San Francisco and New York, the Tuscan estate will present its iconic blends to trade professionals and media across the West and East Coasts.

February 26, 2026 — Caiarossa will take part in the upcoming Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri World Tour, presenting a curated selection of its most iconic wines to trade professionals and media across three key US cities. Spanning both the West Coast and the East Coast, the tour will begin on 24 February in Los Angeles, continue on 26 February in San Francisco, and conclude on 5 March in New York.
Throughout all three events, members of the press and wine industry professionals will have the opportunity to taste a selection of the winery’s signature labels, shaped by a balance between experimentation and harmony. Each wine offers a different perspective on the Tuscan coast: from the Sangiovese‑driven identity of Pergolaia, to the more Mediterranean expression of Aria di Caiarossa, up to the estate’s most international blend, Caiarossa. Together, they interpret the local landscape through a distinctly French lens — a hallmark of the estate’s heritage — where creativity meets precision and elegance is grounded in character.
Founded in 2004 by Eric Albada Jelgersma, who acquired an estate on the Tuscan coast, Caiarossa was born from a vision of creating wines rooted in a territory capable of delivering both character and vitality. Bringing with him decades of experience developed at Château Giscours, a renowned estate in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, Eric laid the foundations for a winery shaped by creativity and a deep respect for terroir. Today, his children, Dennis, Derk and Valérie, continue this journey, pursuing clarity and finesse in winemaking while staying always faithful to the family’s founding values.
From the very beginning, Caiarossa has embraced the principles of biodynamic agriculture, aiming to strengthen soil vitality and foster a close relationship with the rhythms of nature. This philosophy underpins every stage of production and reflects the estate’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and authenticity.
The Tre Bicchieri World Tour offers an ideal platform to share this vision with an international audience, highlighting the dialogue between terroir, craftsmanship and environmentally conscious winemaking that defines the spirit of Caiarossa.
About Caiarossa
The energy of nature finds momentum and refuge near the medieval village of Riparbella, on the Tuscan Coast: lush vegetation, fruit trees, olive trees, vegetables, and aromatic plants bring to life the colors, scents, and wonders of a unique territory - the land where Caiarossa stands. A magical light by day, created by the reflection of the sun’s rays on the distant sea, and a starry sky by night - this captivating atmosphere embraces the winery, red like the center of the earth, resting on the southwest slope of the hill. It was in 2004 that Eric Albada Jelgersma decided to purchase an estate in this special part of Italy, bringing with him the expertise he had developed over the years in Bordeaux with Château Giscours, a renowned Grand Cru Classé in the Margaux appellation.
Eric Albada fell in love with this small yet beautiful winery, nestled in the Mediterranean scrub on the western slope of a hill overlooking the sea. Today, his children Dennis, Derk, and Valérie continue in their father’s footsteps, striving for the utmost precision in winemaking.
This pursuit is centered on maintaining a deep connection with nature’s rhythms. That’s why, from its inception, the winery has followed the principles of biodynamic agriculture, aiming to enhance the vitality and resilience of the soil. Caiarossa wines are unique: refined blends that balance experimentation with harmony.
