Wine & Barrel Co. Secures Federal and State Licenses, Officially Launches as a California Winery

December 18, 2025 (St. Helena, CA) — Wine & Barrel Co. today announced it has officially obtained its TTB Winery Basic Permit and California ABC Winegrower License, marking a major milestone in the company’s launch as a boutique producer in the California wine industry.

With these approvals, Wine & Barrel Co. is now fully authorized to produce, bottle, and distribute wine in compliance with both federal and state regulations. The licensing milestone reinforces the company’s commitment to craftsmanship, transparency, and long-term stewardship as it prepares to introduce its first wines.

“Securing these licenses is more than a regulatory step. It’s the foundation of our vision to share wines that reflect both tradition and innovation,” said Emanuel, Founder of Wine & Barrel Co. “We’re excited to move forward with production and to begin building lasting relationships with our community, partners, and customers.”

Wine & Barrel Co. will continue to focus on small lot winemaking, brand transparency, and collaborative partnerships across the industry. Central to the company’s approach is sourcing exceptional fruit through relationships with local Napa Valley growers and supporting the region through local labor and hands-on production, connecting each bottle to the place and people who nurture it.

The first bottlings are already in progress, with release details to be announced in the coming months.
