Texas Vineyard Tracker launches a live 3D map of Texas vineyards, with launch pricing through November 15
October 27, 2026 (Lubbock, TX) — Texas Vineyard Tracker has launched an interactive 3D map of Texas vineyards at texasvineyardtracker.com. The map shows vineyard outlines, location, current status and listed acreage, currently covering 100’s of vineyards and more than 6,500 mapped acres. Finally, verified information worth paying for from a process you can trust.
Each site is outlined from aerial and satellite imagery and checked against public sources and field research, the result of more than 1,500 hours of verification and mapping. Every vineyard carries one of four statuses: Active, At Risk/Severe Concerns, Dead/Inactive or In Development. The map is updated regularly, and members can see a “What’s New” summary of new sites, status changes and acreage changes after each update.
Until now there has been no single, current picture of Texas vineyards. Texas Vineyard Tracker has mapped every site by hand so the industry can see what is in the ground today, not what was reported years ago in unverified, self-reported surveys. And not what is reported on websites that have no verification or updating due to, again, producer self-reporting.
The map is built for people who need to know what’s actually planted and where: winemakers sourcing fruit, vineyard service and equipment companies, nurseries, suppliers and researchers. Members can search by name, filter by status, fly to any site in 3D and compare current imagery with historical base layers.
Anyone can explore the map’s approximate vineyard areas without signing up, and a free preview opens five vineyards in full detail. Launch pricing is $295 for the first year and is available to the first 50 members through November 15, 2026, or until those spots are taken; the regular price is $495. A statewide expansion rollout is in progress, and members with an active plan when it launches receive it at no extra cost.
