Launching with a one-day collaboration with SingleThread Farm, the Collage Tasting Experience will continue at the Aperture Estate as an ongoing series, uniting wine, art, and culture through the winery’s most ambitious wines to date.
Healdsburg, CA (September 11, 2025) – Aperture, the acclaimed Sonoma County winery founded by first-generation winemaker Jesse Katz, proudly announces the debut of the Collage Tasting Experience, a new hospitality offering that highlights the estate’s newest wines. Crafted from Sonoma’s finest terroirs, Collage is a duo of wines that embody Aperture’s pursuit of precision, creativity, and boundary-pushing expression. To commemorate the launch of the Collage Tasting Experience, Aperture will kick off with a one-day collaboration with SingleThread Farm, the three-Michelin-starred Healdsburg destination, spearheaded by owners Chef Kyle and Farmer Katina Connaughton.
The series will launch on Saturday, September 27, where, for one day only, guests will enjoy a guided Collage tasting alongside rare Aperture cellar releases, paired with a bespoke bento box lunch from SingleThread Farm. Each hand-carved box marries SingleThread’s Japanese sensibility with hyper-seasonal ingredients sourced directly from their farm, reflecting the artistry and terroir that inspire Collage wines.
At the center of the experience are the Collage Proprietary White and Collage Proprietary Red, wines that celebrate the breadth of Sonoma County’s terroir, sourced from the most compelling lots from 200 acres in the Aperture vineyard portfolio across five distinct appellations. Representing the most ambitious and artistically driven project in Aperture’s history, Collage is the culmination of over a decade of precision farming, winemaking innovation, and creative vision. Each wine captures the layered complexity of a masterwork, blending only the most exceptional vineyard lots into two transcendent expressions.
The Proprietary Red has already achieved extraordinary recognition, garnering multiple 100-point scores from initial critical reviews. Aged for 24 months in barrel, six months in custom cement vessels, this Cabernet Sauvignon reflects Jesse Katz’s global experience spanning 25 harvests and his commitment to redefining the boundaries of artistry and craftsmanship.
