September 16, 2026 (Carlsbad, CA) — La Costa Wine Co. will host its annual Grand Tasting Weekend on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, a two-day celebration of wine sourced from around the world. The weekend opens with an exclusive Wine Club Member event and continues the following day with a Grand Tasting open to the public.
Saturday’s preview is reserved exclusively for La Costa Wine Co.’s Wine Club members, a smaller, more refined gathering built for the people who make up the heart of the shop. Each membership includes entry for two (the member plus one guest), with a curated lineup of exclusive and hard-to-find selections poured by the wine representatives who source them.
On Sunday, the doors open to the public for La Costa Wine Co.’s signature Grand Tasting, an afternoon of wines poured from around the world, poured by the reps and winemakers who bring it to Carlsbad. Guests will taste their way through a global lineup, one pour at a time, and light bites.
“The Grand Tasting is our favorite weekend of the year,” says La Costa Wine Co. owner, Triana Hinchey. “Here at our Carlsbad venue, Saturday is a special tasting experience just for our Wine Club Members, featuring a distinct lineup of wines. Sunday, we open our doors to the whole community for a chance to taste and explore a global portfolio. We’re excited to introduce this new two-day format and can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
The Grand Tasting events will showcase wines from across the globe including selections from Burgundy, Bordeaux, Piedmont, Tuscany, Napa Valley, Willamette Valley, Santa Barbara, Rioja, South America, and island gems from Greece and Sardinia.

Grand Tasting – Wine Club Members (3:00 – 5:00pm PST) $25 per person
- Sunday, October 11
Grand Tasting – General Public (2:00pm – 4:00pm PST) $50 per person
Tickets can be purchased at the door both Saturday and Sunday. Both Grand Tasting events take place at La Costa Wine Co. located at 7750 El Camino Real, Suite L, in Carlsbad, CA 92009.
