July 30, 2025 (Sonoma, CA) — Bundschu Co, the multigenerational, family-owned wine and experience company with the portfolio of brands including Gundlach Bundschu, Abbot’s Passage and GUNBUN, is proud to announce Connor Bockman as Winemaker. A Carneros native, Bockman’s innovative approach complements a company deeply rooted in six generations of family farming, where tradition and creativity thrive together. A UC Davis Viticulture & Enology graduate and WSET Level 4 Diploma holder, Bockman is known for crafting terroir-driven wines and fostering collaboration.

Prior to joining Bundschu Co., Bockman served as Winemaker at Donkey & Goat in Berkeley, where he managed the production of over 30 distinct wines and championed sustainability and regenerative farming practices. Previous roles include Associate Winemaker at RD Winery in Napa, Cellar Master at Covert Estate and harvest and cellar work at Peter Michael Winery, Celia Welch Consulting, and Church Road in New Zealand.
Bockman brings deep local knowledge and a forward-thinking sensibility to his new role, aligning with Bundschu Co.’s future-forward vision. He will oversee the production team and collaborate closely with Consulting Winemaker Keith Emerson.
