North Americans Want Wines for $60 or Less: New Research Reveals Consumer Preferences When Eating Out

The results of a new study into the relationship between food and wine will be unveiled at wine2wine Business Forum in Verona on 14 November 2023. Amongst the key findings are the importance of the food menu over the wine list and a strong consumer preference for simpler wine lists and lower pricing. The study was conducted on behalf of Quench Magazine for wine2wine Business Forum.

VERONA, ItalyNov. 8, 2023 This year’s wine2wine Business Forum program includes the release of the findings of a recent survey on behalf of Quench Magazine, North America’s longest-running food and drink magazine. The purpose of the survey was to understand the role and importance of wine selection and wine lists to the overall dining experience in North America.

Seven key findings:

On Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 November, Verona will welcome hundreds of wine industry professionals from across the world. wine2wine business forum takes place in Verona in 2023 for the tenth consecutive year. The event, that involves two days of intense networking and training, gives producers and wine professionals the opportunity to explore industry trends, discuss best practice and generate ideas to grow their business internationally.
