A December Collaboration of Eight Wineries in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA Welcomes Guests to Unforgettable Holiday Experiences in this Unique Region

Yamhill, OR (November 2, 2023) Eight wineries in the northern Willamette Valley are teaming up to create a holiday passport to encourage wine lovers to visit and enjoy the Laughlin Loop, the scenic route that is home to the neighboring wineries.

Located outside of Yamhill, Laughlin Loop is a picturesque 7-mile wine trail formed by Laughlin Road and Woodland Loop. Eight Yamhill-Carlton wineries located on this particularly scenic route have collaborated to create events showcasing the area since 2017. The neighboring wineries include Beacon Hill Winery and Vineyard, Fairsing Vineyard, Gran Moraine Winery, Lenné Estate, Roots Wine Company, Saffron Fields Vineyard, Soléna Estate, and WillaKenzie Estate

This year, the Holiday Edition of Laughlin Loop centers on a passport that provides access to complimentary tastings at each of the eight wineries throughout December, at a stunning value of $60 (eight tastings valued at over $250). Passports can be purchased at any of the participating wineries, so guests can start their tour on the initial visit. Passport holders are welcome to explore the wineries at their own pace throughout the month, indulge in seasonal offerings, shop holiday gifts, and enjoy the tranquility of the scenic route. Wine Club members at any participating winery can purchase the passports for $50 each.

In addition to the complimentary tastings available through the month of December, Laughlin Loop wineries will feature special culinary offerings, holiday vendors, and seasonal wine selections for the first two weekends, December 2-3 and December 9-10. Saffron Fields Vineyard will be open late showcasing the holiday lights in their exquisitely landscaped gardens, Fairsing Vineyard will have baked treats to share with individual wines, and Lenné Estate will feature a vertical library tasting. Holiday decor and a festive atmosphere at every winery will provide guests with the inviting, warm hospitality of a winter in wine country.

“Scenic and festive, this collaboration invites visitors to experience a variety of incredible wines while savoring the quiet beauty of December in wine country,” shares Mary Ann McNally, owner of Fairsing Vineyard.
