WOODINVILLE, WA – October 19, 2023 – DeLille Cellars, an acclaimed Washington State winery, has released the 30th vintage of its iconic red blend, D2. This milestone is a testament to DeLille’s commitment to showcasing the world-class quality of Washington State and the Columbia Valley AVA. Over the past thirty years, D2 has become the winery’s most sought-after and widely distributed wine with representation across the United States and a dozen countries.
D2 was one of two wines produced in 1992, the winery’s founding year and inaugural vintage. As the winery’s flagship wine today, it is synonymous with DeLille Cellars and a symbol of quality for Washington’s wine industry. Over the past three decades, D2 has garnered a dedicated following and numerous accolades, including three Wine Spectator Top 100 awards, solidifying its status as one of Washington State’s most notable luxury wines.

The 30th vintage of D2 continues the tradition of excellence, with winemakers Jason Gorski, Nick Bernstein, and Mari Rossi expertly crafting a blend from more than a dozen vineyard sites throughout the Columbia Valley AVA. As demand for D2 has grown, production has increased with a dedicated focus on quality in the cellar and selective sourcing from some of the state’s most prestigious vineyard sites. The 2021 vintage showcases the balance and artistry for which DeLille Cellars is known. The wine features a harmonious combination of Bordeaux varietals, always with Merlot in the lead.
