Explore Walla Walla this fall with an insider’s guide to the Valley’s best-kept secrets and celebrated favorites thoughtfully curated by local winemakers.
WALLA WALLA, WA (September 25, 2023) Walla Walla Valley Wine has launched its seventh Wander Walla Walla Valley Wine series of curated winemaker itineraries. Walla Walla Valley winemakers created custom itineraries focused on sharing their favorite Walla Walla stops, including beloved wineries, eateries, and attractions, all while revealing insider tips and tricks along the way.
Walla Walla’s approachable small-town atmosphere, world-class dining, outdoor recreational activities, and vibrant wine community continue to attract the interest of both wine lovers and travelers alike. The Walla Walla Valley is home to the highest concentration of wineries in Washington, close to 3,000 acres of vineyards and offers one of the most immersive wine country experiences in the Pacific Northwest.
“Visitors often seek to embrace the local experience, and who better to guide them through a day in wine country than the winemakers that call the Walla Walla Valley home,” shares Liz Knapke, Walla Walla Valley Wine’s Executive Director. “Wander is designed for those in pursuit of an authentic experience, participants will uncover treasures that only true insiders know and can expect delightful surprises along the way!”
This year’s program includes seven new itineraries available from October 1 to December 17, 2023. Visitors can download the itinerary of their choice at WallaWallaWine.com/Wander beginning September 25. Registration is free, and the itinerary is a pay-as-you-go experience.
