Under vine since 1849, the Cienega Valley-based producer of classic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay has revitalized its hospitality program to include numerous new guest experiences.

July 10th – Cienega Valley, CA – Eden Rift, located in San Benito County’s Cienega Valley AVA, has announced a revitalized hospitality program at their iconic vineyard property.

The critically acclaimed producer of balanced, estate-grown Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays will now offer Rift Rider tours. Rift Riders is a private, mobile dining experience available by reservation only. The Rift Rider mobile tour offers participants a three-course, chef-prepared meal, paired with several Eden Rift estate-grown wines. Diners are welcome to choose a venue on the estate and may dine al fresco among the vines, atop a bluff, near a forest of oak trees or numerous other settings. The Rift Riders were custom designed for the estate, with one serving up to 8 seated guests at a time, and the other accommodating up to 14 seated guests.

Additionally, Eden Rift has announced their Harvest Dinner Series, hosted by Master Sommelier Christopher Miller, who will expertly pair each menu and guest chef with Eden Rift estate wines. Featured chefs will be from San Benito County and the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Dinners will be served on the grounds of the historic Dickinson House, built in 1906 by Walter Burley Griffin, a devotee of the Prairie School and close associate of Frank Lloyd Wright. The first dinner will be held July 29th, and will feature Chef Charlie Parker (Manresa, Ubuntu) of Charlie Parker Provisions.

Eden Rift also offers the “Helicopter Tour and Tasting”, during which participants will tour the skies above Monterey Bay en route to the Eden Rift estate, where they’ll land on a private Helipad, be picked up by an ATV and taken on an extensive tour of the estate while enjoying a flight of Eden Rift’s current releases.

Pinot Noir enthusiasts may prefer the Pinot Noir Flight tasting, which is offered inside the Dickinson House. For 90 minutes, guests are offered up to five Pinot Noirs from different blocks on the estate, with a private host illuminating the virtues of each one through an engaged presentation. The ATV tour and tasting, which visitors enjoy inside our Polaris ATV, includes an in-depth, fresh-air tour of our 120 acre estate vineyard, while tasting a line up of our current releases.
