March 18, 2023 Walla Walla, WA – The inaugural American Cancer Society fundraiser event – The Soiree, Walla Walla – was largely a wine industry supported auction, and the largest fundraiser ever in Walla Walla, WA. Tickets sold out with 20 local wineries participating.
Walla Walla Wineries Association supported “The Soiree”, which is expected to be one the of top fundraising events annually. This year’s honorary chairman was Dennis Murphy, founder and winemaker at Caprio Cellars. Dennis has made a career of targeted participative giving, and his philanthropy has resulted in significant ongoing contributions to charitable causes over his wine business career, including this year’s ACS event.
