April 11, 2023 – Today, Breakthru Beverage Group announced Earl Farkas has joined the company as Special Counsel, reporting directly to Chief Legal Officer Arlyn Miller. Farkas’s responsibilities will include advising on franchise and regulatory matters and negotiation and drafting of supplier agreements. He will also support Breakthru’s merger and acquisition efforts, as well as represent Breakthru in certain wholesale association matters.

Farkas has been a senior partner at the Chicago-based firm Gozdecki, Del Giudice, Americus, Farkas & Brocato LLP since 2008, where he has garnered extensive experience representing manufacturers, importers, wholesalers and retailers in the highly regulated beverage alcohol industry. He also has significant experience representing companies in regulatory investigations, drawing on his long-standing relationships with the Federal Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau and state alcohol beverage commissions. Farkas regularly represents wholesalers in their acquisition and disposition of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage distribution rights. Farkas is an Associate Member of the Associated Beer Distributors of Illinois and a Client Counsel Representative with the Wine & Spirits Distributors of Illinois.
