Niles, IL – February 1, 2023 – Winesellers, Ltd., a second-generation family-owned importer and marketer of fine wines, announces a new partnership as exclusive U.S. importer of Ricossa, a renowned producer of classic Piedmont wines, along with modern interpretations led by their Barbera Piemonte Appassimento DOC.
Ricossa is the first Piedmontese estate at Winesellers, which will market a full range nationally, focused on DOC and DOCG wines produced from Nebbiolo and Barbera, meeting a consistently growing consumer interest in skillfully made, premium selections of high-quality Italian wine with aging potential.

Ricossa’s family roots in Piedmont date back to the late 1800s. Located in the Village of Castel Boglione in the heart of Nizza DOCG production area, the Ricossa estate holds 180 acres of dedicated vineyards. Ricossa produces Piedmont wines that express the unique land that so famously harmonize with the gastronomic traditions of the region.
Winesellers will be importing the Moscato d’Asti DOCG (NSRP: $13.99), Roero Arneis DOCG (NSRP: $16.99), Gavi DOCG (NSRP: $16.99), Barbera d’Asti DOCG (NSRP: $13.99), Barbera D’Appassimento Piemonte DOC (NSRP: $16.99), Langhe Nebbiolo DOC (NSRP: $18.99), Barbaresco DOCG (NSRP: $34.99), Barbaresco Riserva DOCG (NSRP: $39.99), Barolo DOCG (NSRP: $41.99), and Barolo Riserva DOCG (NSRP: $52.99). The wines will be available in most US states starting in April 2023.
