Joins Osmosis® Sauvignon Blanc in Portfolio of Low Calorie, Low Alcohol, Zero Sugar Wines made with Sustainably Farmed Grapes from High-Altitude Argentine Vineyards 

Fort Worth, TX June 2022 – Vino Del Sol is thrilled to announce the national release of Osmosis® de-LIGHT-ful® Red Blend coming to markets this July.  The second label in their portfolio of high quality, low alcohol, low calorie wines, the Red Blend is made from a combination of Syrah, Bonarda, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.  It is a premium high-altitude wine, sustainably farmed on family-owned estate vineyards in Agrelo and Alto Agrelo, Mendoza.  This region, located in the foot of the Andes, is renowned for producing wines of great natural acidity and full flavor.

At 10% alcohol, 90 calories and zero sugar per five ounce pour, Osmosis® Red Blend is the best ‘Better-For-You” wine for the mindful drinker.  Lighter in calories but full of flavor, it boasts rich, smooth layers of ripe red berries and plums as well as notes of cinnamon and vanilla. Soft and fresh with round tannins and a long finish, the Red Blend is an easy to drink wine best paired with salty cheeses, grilled meats, vegetables, empanadas, pasta, and noodle dishes.  It can be served lightly chilled, like in South America, perfect for outdoor summer entertaining.

Using a gentle proprietary technique, the winemaking team is able to decrease the wine’s alcohol to 10% while retaining its full flavor. The grapes are hand-harvested and picked at different times to take advantage of earlier harvests which allow for naturally low alcohol; and later harvests, which produce more concentrated fruit.  Using the different characteristics of the four grape varietals, the winemaking team has created a blend that tastes premium with less alcohol.
