July 27th – Moorestown, NJ – Importer and distributor Regal Wine Imports adds Wine Traditions, Ltd. to its portfolio for distribution in New York, New Jersey, and Delaware. Wine Traditions imports wines from independent family-owned vineyards in Southwest France, Jura, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Loire, Champagne, Languedoc, Provence, Savoie and Rhone, among others.
Created in 1996 and based in Virginia, Wine Traditions Ltd. began as a collaborative project between husband and wife, Edward Addiss and Barbara Selig. Foundational for Ed and Barbara has been the belief that the meaningful expression of land is not limited to a small group of anointed appellations. For 25 years, Wine Traditions has championed appellations that receive too little acclaim and have sought out vignerons and vigneronnes whose deep respect and commitments toward their land result in wines that convey a sense of place.
