WARETOWN, N. J. (Jan. 21, 2021) – Organizers of New Jersey’s highly popular annual Waretown Wine Festival, now in its sixth year, have today announced the cancellation of this year’s festival, out of an abundance of caution.

Originally scheduled to be held April 24-25, this year’s two-day Waretown Wine Festival will no longer occur, due to the existing COVID-19 pandemic continuing to plague the nation.  Instead it will be held the last weekend of April in 2022.

According to Sylvia Allen, the event’s longtime organizer, the decision was made to protect the health and safety of festivalgoers, vendors, wineries, and others who either attend or serve those in attendance at the festival.

Tickets already purchased through Groupon and Eventbrite can be applied to next year’s event.
