Grand Prairie, Texas, Dec. 30, 2020– Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), together with Young’s Market Company (Young’s), announced today that Young’s will begin doing business as RNDC, beginning Jan. 1, 2021.
“We are excited about this next step in our joint venture,” Tom Cole, President and CEO, said. “It’s important for our customers, suppliers and vendors to know we continue to work together toward becoming one company.”
RNDC and Young’s entered into a joint venture agreement in August 2019, allowing RNDC to service customers in 32 states plus the District of Columbia. Through the agreement, Young’s became a division of RNDC with RNDC leadership managing the day-to-day operations of the business.
“Our partnership has been mutually beneficial,” Cole continued. “I expect great things in our combined future.”
The legal transition to use the RNDC name began in December and is expected to continue through Q1 2021.
