As of September 1st, LNJ Brands will be the exclusive distributor for the historic Spanish wine company’s entire fine wine portfolio in the Empire State

Napa, CA – September 8, 2020 – Raventós Codorníu, Spain’s oldest producer of wines and cavas with a history dating back to 1551, announces a new distribution partnership with LNJ Brands, to expand the presence of its fine wine portfolio in the New York market, including New York City’s five boroughs, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk counties, effective as of September 1. The portfolio, which includes renowned international brands such as Codorníu, Artesa, Septima, Raimat, Viña Pomal, Legaris, Scala Dei, The Spanish Quarter, James Mitchell, Umberto Fiore, among others, is transitioning from Grapes and Greens.

Oriol Gabarró, National Sales Director for Raventós Codorníu, says the move will bring the historic Spanish company closer to its core customers. “New York is one of our top strategic markets in the US and with this change we expect to improve our market position. With LNJ, our customers will enjoy improved service, attention and more opportunities to learn and interact with our wines, as LNJ brings over 30 sales associates and significant coverage in all the counties highlighted, allowing us to improve our distribution in off and on-premise channels with all of our core SKUs.”

LNJ Brands brings over 100 years of rich experience in distribution of consumer products.  Within New York alone, they have a team of over 30 sales associates, 30,000 SF climate controlled warehouse located on Long Island, servicing thousands of On and Off Premise accounts in New York State. The LNJ Brands portfolio includes prominent brands such as Raphael Vineyards, Scotto Family Cellars, Bronco Wine Company, and Cielo Family Wines, among many others.
