Annette HoffLower Lake, CA (August 11, 2020) – Shannon Ridge Family of Wines has announced the appointment of Annette Hoff as winemaker, effective immediately. Hoff will be responsible for making the Buck Shack, Ovis, Clay Shannon, Giannecchini, and High Valley Wines.

Hoff comes to Shannon Ridge with over 20 years of winemaking experience.  She was the founding winemaker for an artisan winery on the central coast, running point for both operations and production. “I am quite enthusiastic and excited to work for Winegrower and Owner Clay Shannon and Wine Director Joy Merrilees,” stated Hoff. “Shannon Ridge Family of Wines is dynamic and growing and has a solid, committed winemaking team and I look forward to contributing to their mission and goals.”

Hoff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Davis, and is a Licensed Apprentice Falconer.

About Shannon Ridge Family of Wines

The Shannon family is committed to preserving their land, not only for the great vineyard sites but also for the bear, elk, mountain lions, eagles and other creatures which live there. Of their approximately 2,500 acres, only about 45% have been converted to vineyards. The balance of the land has been preserved for the wildlife which wanders through the property from the expansive wilderness areas adjoining the ranches. The vineyards were carefully planned out, leaving corridors open to migrating animals and protecting sensitive nesting areas.

The Shannon Ridge Family of Wines portfolio includes Shannon Ridge High Elevation Collection, Buck Shack, Clay Shannon, High Valley, OVIS, Pistol Grip, Urgency, Vigilance, Giannecchini and Shannon Reserve.  www.shannonridge.com
