The new company will DBA as Convoy Beverage Alliance
February 4, 2020, Santa Rosa, California – Epic Wines & Spirits, the full-service premium California wholesaler owned by vintner Bill Foley, has acquired Pacific Wine Distributors, a trucking company in Irwindale, California, and renamed it Convoy Beverage Alliance.
The acquired company brings with it more than 100 clients, including alcohol wholesalers, independent producers, retailers, and importers. These clients will continue to be serviced by the Convoy Beverage Alliance, which will move forward as a DBA and independent division of Epic Wines & Spirits. The deal also includes 45 delivery trucks, allowing Epic Wines & Spirits to expand the transportation processes of their existing statewide distribution services.

Day to day operations will continue to be managed under contract by the founder and General Manager of Pacific Wine Distributors, Gino Pacella. His team of office staff, warehouse crew, transportation specialists, and truck drivers will transition to become Epic employees under the newly created entity, Convoy Beverage Alliance.
