An Internationally Acclaimed, Premium Provence Rosé

PURCHASE, NEW YORK (October 15, 2019) — Kobrand Corporation, a leading wine and spirits importer with a distinguished portfolio of hand-selected brands from around the world, is delighted to announce the addition of AIX (pronounced “ehks”) Rosé to its portfolio of fine wines, effective January 1, 2020. Kobrand will be the exclusive U.S. importer for the brand and responsible for all sales and marketing activities in the United States.

“As a family-owned company, Kobrand strives to partner with other family-owned businesses who share our commitment to building quality brands for the long-term,” said Robert T. DeRoose, Kobrand Corporation’s president and CEO. “We recognized the potential of the Provence rosé category since the start of its explosive growth in the
United States, but have been selective in choosing the right partner for a long-term relationship. When we met Eric and the Kurver family, we were immediately impressed with the quality of the Maison Saint Aix estate in both the vineyards and at the winery, the quality of the AIX Rosé wine, and the quality of the AIX Rosé packaging and
marketing approach. We are very confident that together we will continue to grow the prestigious AIX Rosé brand to yet higher heights and we look forward to a long and thriving partnership with Eric and his family.”

“Maison Saint Aix is extremely proud and happy to team up with Kobrand as sole importer for the US to further develop the import and distribution of AIX Provence Rosé in the US,” says Eric Kurver, owner of Maison Saint Aix. “Our successful selective distribution strategy, which made AIX one of the leading Provence Rosé brands around the world, will remain the core strategy for Kobrand and AIX Rosé. With the 2019 harvest nearly complete, we expect AIX 2019 to be gorgeous again and it will be available in the US through Kobrand in early spring 2020.”

Kobrand’s first offering to the USA will be the 2019 vintage of AIX Rosé, at a $23 SRP for 750ml bottles. A selection of large formats will also be available, from Magnum (1.5L) through Nebuchadnezzar (15L).

About Maison Saint Aix

Originally founded as a truffle orchard in 1880, Maison Saint Aix was converted to vineyards in the early 1900s and purchased by Eric Kurver, a native of the Netherlands, in 2009. The domain is one of the largest in the AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence area, the quintessential location for rosé wine. Situated on a plateau nestled in the rolling
Provence hills at an altitude of 1400 feet above sea level and northeast of Aix-en-Provence in the south of France, the estate enjoys 300+ days of sunshine, and includes over 185 acres of vineyards planted on mineral-rich soils with Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. This terroir, highlighted by warm days, cool nights, and mistral winds, creates a
fragrant and well-balanced wine. AIX’s alluring salmon pink color reveals a fresh and floral nose that is delicate yet youthful while the palate is round and supple with rich, ripe berry flavors and notes of spice. More information can be found at www.aixrose.com.
