castle-rock-black-label-red-wine-cuveeCastle Rock Winery is pleased to announce that it has released its 2014 Red Wine Cuvee from Columbia Valley. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Merlot (40%), Syrah (10%) and Pinot Noir (10%), and features a black  label and  screw-cap closure:

This wine is now available to order, and is already on its way to market in many states of the U.S. This elegant and full-bodied wine has flavors of blackberries and spices with light toasted oak, framed with well-balanced tannins and acidity. It ends with a long harmonious finish, and provides an excellent accompaniment to grilled or roasted meat and poultry.

The “black label” package is a new departure for Castle Rock, which has always sold its wines under cream labels, and it will be featured on all future releases of wines from Columbia Valley.
