Local Wineries and Media Invited to Private Industry Open House on Wed., August 19
August 18, 2015; (HEALDSBURG, Calif.) – Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery announces the opening of Il Terrazzo, an outdoor tasting deck at the winery’s Villa Fiore Wine Shop and Tasting Room in Northern Sonoma County’s picturesque Dry Creek Valley. Open daily for guests to enjoy Ferrari-Carano wines amidst stunning vineyard views, Il Terrazzo will also offer a special weekend wine flight that includes five of Ferrari-Carano’s most loved wines with food accompaniments for $25; $15 for wine club members; fee is waived with $150 purchase from Villa Fiore.
To celebrate the opening of Il Terrazzo, Owners Don and Rhonda Carano will host an Industry Open House on Wednesday, August 19 for local wine industry members and media. The reception will include live music, gourmet bites and an array of Ferrari-Carano wines.
“What better way to enjoy our wines than outside among the vines, just feet away from where our grapes are sustainably grown, carefully harvested and handcrafted into award-winning wines?” says Mrs. Carano, who founded the winery with her husband in 1981.
Guests can also enjoy Ferrari-Carano wines inside of the Villa Fiore Tasting Room, which features a dramatic, curved mahogany and black granite wine tasting bar with large, arched windows that overlook the estate vineyard, the surrounding mountains and the stunning villa fountain pavilion. Guests interested in tasting Ferrari-Carano’s Limited Release and Reserve Wines can visit the Enoteca, located in the underground cellar of Villa Fiore. Private tastings are available by appointment downstairs in the Prevail Room between Tuesday and Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
