Napa, Calif. (May 22, 2014) ─Sarah Davila has joined The Hess Collection as Director, Human Resources, overseeing the winery’s Napa based HR operations as well as the needs of the Hess sales organization. She comes to The Hess Collection from a similar position with the Terlato Wine Group.
Davila, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business and human resources from Sonoma State University, will report to Brian Dunn, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at The Hess Collection.
At Terlato, she oversaw HR for Chimney Rock, Rutherford Hill and Sanford Winery. Earlier, she served Treasury Wine Estates as a recruitment specialist concentrating on IT and supply functions. While at The Doctors Company, the nation’s largest provider of physician and surgeon medical liability insurance, she worked as a Senior HR representative, developing employee recognition programs and reengineering performance evaluation systems.
Davila holds an Associate Degree in Spanish from Vista Community College in Berkeley, California, as well as a number of HR certifications.
