Metro Label Company has acquired the exclusive agency for Modern Cooperage barrel systems.
Modern Cooperage barrels are a patented stainless barrel system featuring removable oak staves and an internal lees stirring system. The Modern Cooperage barrels have been tested by top Napa wineries for the past 3 years and have achieved extraordinary results.
“The Modern Cooperage barrel is a stunning innovation with major environmental benefits. It is the first customizable tool kit for bold winemakers who wish to develop unique flavor profiles in a fraction of the time normally required.” Commented Mr. Sandeep Lal, President of Metro Label.
“Metro Label has a strong culture of innovation, and shares our vision for bringing transformational technologies to the wine industry.” added Jon Roleder, President of Modern Cooperage.
The Modern Cooperage barrels will be on display at the North Coast Wine industry Expo in Santa Rosa on December 5th (See us at Booth #600 & 704) and at the Unified Symposium in Sacramento next January. Metro Label will be responsible for all aspects of the sales & distribution of the Modern Cooperage barrel system. “Modern Cooperage will provide technical guidance and support”, noted Patrick Pickett, an experienced winemaking veteran who was previously winemaker at Kendall Jackson for the last 12 years.
