Garden City winery celebrates its Boise State roots with wines created for Bronco Nation
October 21, 2026 (Garden City, ID) — Proletariat Wine Company has partnered with Boise State Athletics to release two limited-edition wines, Blue Turf Blend and Bronco Bubbles. The collaboration brings together the Garden City winery’s commitment to making quality Northwest wines accessible and its founders’ longstanding connection to their alma mater, Boise State.

Founded in 2011, Proletariat has built its reputation on quality Northwest wines, fair pricing, and a welcoming approach to wine. The Boise State collaboration offers Bronco fans wines made for game-day gatherings, celebrations, and sharing with friends and family.
“We’re Bronco fans first, so creating wines that celebrate Boise State was an easy decision,” said Elizabeth Baggerly, Co-Founder of Proletariat Wine Company. “These wines are meant to be enjoyed with family and friends while cheering on the Broncos or during any other gathering. Quantities are limited, so we encourage fans to grab a bottle while they can.”
Blue Turf Blend, a bold Bordeaux-style red blend, combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec, offering aromas of dark cherry and spice, layered dark fruit, refined tannins, and a smooth, lingering finish. Bronco Bubbles, a vibrant sparkling rosé made from 100% Syrah, features aromas of strawberry and cotton candy, bright watermelon flavors, and fine, lively bubbles. The wines are crafted from grapes grown across the Northwest by acclaimed winemaker Sean Boyd.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Proletariat Wine for creating something that allows fans to celebrate their passion for Boise State in a truly unique way,” said Boise State Director of Athletics Jeramiah Dickey. “Blue Turf Blend honors one of the most iconic symbols in college athletics, while Bronco Bubbles is made for celebrating victories together. This partnership represents exactly what makes our community special: local businesses supporting Boise State because they believe in what we’re building together. It takes a TEAM! What’s Next!”
Proletariat sources fruit from vineyards across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, drawing on long-term grower relationships. Its Garden City tasting room has become a gathering place for the Treasure Valley community, and the winery was voted Best Winery in the 2025 and 2026 Best of Boise awards.
Blue Turf Blend and Bronco Bubbles are available for $36 per bottle at Proletariat’s Garden City tasting room (106 E. 36th Street) and at proletariatwines.com, with shipping available to eligible states. The wines are also available at select Albertsons locations, including the Broadway and Fairview Market Street stores in Boise. Quantities are limited.
About Proletariat Wine Company
Founded in 2011, Proletariat Wine Company was built on the belief that good wine should be easy to enjoy and fairly priced. Wine on tap has been part of that approach from the beginning and is still central to how the winery shares wine today. Proletariat sources fruit across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, drawing on long-term grower relationships and choosing the right fruit for each wine rather than tying itself to a single region. Its Garden City tasting room brings that philosophy to life in a relaxed, welcoming space built for gathering. Learn more at proletariatwines.com.
Bronco Sports Properties, Boise State’s locally based Learfield team, secured the partnership.
