2024 Sauvignon Blanc joins Kosmic Kitty Chardonnay with 89–90 points as the family-owned California brand continues to earn recognition for quality and value
September 28, 2026 (Rolling Hills, CA) — Family-owned Kosmic Kitty® Wines continues to build national recognition, with its 2024 California Sauvignon Blanc earning 89–90 points from Reverse Wine Snob, following the same 89–90-point rating recently awarded to Kosmic Kitty Chardonnay.
Wine reviewer Jon Thorsen praised the 2024 Kosmic Kitty Sauvignon Blanc as an “out of this world value,” highlighting its freshness, juicy fruit, acidity, balance and broad appeal. He described the wine as finishing crisp, dry and juicy, with lingering tropical fruit notes.
The review awarded the Sauvignon Blanc 8 out of 10 for taste, equivalent to 89–90 points, and 9 out of 10 for cost, resulting in an overall 8.3 rating and the publication’s “Bulk Buy” recommendation — a designation recognizing wines that deliver particularly strong quality for the price.
Significantly, Thorsen connected the Sauvignon Blanc directly with the Kosmic Kitty Chardonnay he previously reviewed, describing both wines as easy-drinking, crowd-pleasing choices. The recognition of two wines from the portfolio reinforces Kosmic Kitty’s focus on delivering approachable California wines that combine quality, value and distinctive packaging.

The 2024 Kosmic Kitty Sauvignon Blanc is produced from 100% California grapes by winemaker Meghan Daniels. Reverse Wine Snob noted aromas of citrus, melon and tropical fruit, followed by juicy fruit, lively acidity and balance on the palate. The wine is 12% alcohol, with an SRP of $12.00.
The latest recognition adds to growing critical acclaim for the Kosmic Kitty portfolio. The Chardonnay previously earned 89–90 points from Reverse Wine Snob, as well as a 90-Point Best Buy from Wine Enthusiast and 95 Points – Best of Class at the International Women’s Wine Competition.
