September 14, 2026 (Monroe, OR) — Family-owned Broadley Vineyards announces the release of its first-ever estate-grown Gamay Noir, debuting with the 2024 vintage. Long known for its commitment to thoughtful farming and classic varieties, the winery introduces this limited bottling as a natural extension of its estate program within the Willamette Valley.
The project began, as many do, around the table. After revisiting Gamay Noir over dinner and recognizing its versatility and appeal, the Broadley team planted 2.5 acres of clone 358 on an east-facing mid-slope of the estate in 2020 and 2021. With optimal morning sun and careful vineyard management, the site was selected to highlight the variety’s bright aromatics and balance.
“Gamay has always felt like a natural fit for our site and our approach to farming,” said Morgan Broadley at Broadley Vineyards. “It brings a different kind of energy to the lineup, something vibrant, food-friendly, and approachable, while still reflecting the structure and nuance we value in estate-grown wines.”
A close relative of Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir is known for its lifted red fruit, freshness, and versatility at the table. The 2024 estate bottling has been barrel-aged to add depth while preserving the variety’s inherent brightness.
“We’ve been excited about this wine from the moment it was planted,” added Jessica Broadley. “After four years of watching these vines develop, it’s incredibly rewarding to finally share the first vintage. It feels both new and completely aligned with who we are.”
The 2024 Estate Gamay Noir is now available direct-to-consumer via the winery and website, in select markets through distribution partners & at the tasting room, with extremely limited quantities.
