September 10, 2026 (Heidelberg, Germany) — At BrauBeviale in Nuremberg, ProMinent will showcase innovative solutions for sustainable, safe and efficient beverage production from 10 to 12 November 2026. Under the motto “Smart Technologies for Better Beverages”, the company will demonstrate how modern metering, measurement and disinfection systems help conserve resources, optimize processes and ensure the highest quality standards throughout the beverage industry. The focus will be on forward-looking technologies for water treatment, disinfection, metering and digital process monitoring. Visitors can meet ProMinent in Hall 10, Booth 10-331.
Reliable Disinfection of Liquid Sugar
One of the highlights of the exhibition is the DULCODES LP TL UV system for liquid sugar disinfection. Specifically developed for this application, the system efficiently inactivates heat-resistant microorganisms and provides reliable disinfection of sugar syrup within a very short time. This enables conventional heat pasteurization to be replaced, making a significant contribution to improved energy efficiency, product quality and sustainability in beverage production.
Metering of Food Ingredients and Additives
For precise and hygienic metering applications in beverage production, ProMinent will present the DULCODOS Compact F&B metering system. Designed specifically for applications involving direct food contact, the system supports beverage manufacturers in the reliable metering of flavors, additives and other process media.
Another highlight at the exhibition is the DULCODOS SAFE-IBC F&B. This metering and emptying station enables the safe discharge of IBC containers while ensuring continuous and accurate metering of food additives. Features such as a dead-room-free design, CIP capability and food-compliant materials provide maximum hygiene and process reliability.
New Sensors and Controllers for Water Treatment
A further focus of ProMinent’s exhibition program is advanced measurement, control and sensor technology for water treatment in the beverage industry. With the DULCOMETER diaLog C controller, together with the new DULCOEYE LT and DULCOEYE SAC sensors, ProMinent will present powerful solutions for automated process monitoring. Reliable protection against deposits is provided by the new DULCOTEST SurfaceGuard, consisting of a sensor and transmitter.
Specifically developed for the measurement of low turbidity levels, the DULCOEYE LT ensures reliable monitoring of drinking water, product water and process water. Thanks to automatic calibration and integrated self-cleaning, the sensor delivers consistently stable measurement results while requiring minimal maintenance. Complementing this, the optical DULCOEYE SAC sensor detects organic contamination through the spectral absorption coefficient. Based on these measurements, the sensor can also derive additional relevant parameters, including chemical oxygen demand (COD).
In combination with the diaLog C controller, measurement data is processed directly and metering rates are adjusted automatically. As a result, systems respond reliably to changes in water quality and can be operated with maximum efficiency.
The DULCOTEST SurfaceGuard continuously monitors plant surfaces and detects biofilms as well as inorganic deposits (scaling) at an early stage. This enables cleaning and metering measures to be implemented based on actual demand, helping to avoid efficiency losses and reduce chemical consumption.
