Gathering bookends the 42nd Annual Santa Barbara Vintners Festival and celebrates the women shaping Southern California wine
October 22, 2026 (Los Olivos, CA) — Encore Glass, a proud Business Associate Member of the Santa Barbara Vintners, joined Cork Supply today to co-host a Post-Harvest Happy Hour for Women in Winemaking in Southern California. Held at The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, Auberge Collection, in Los Olivos, the evening brought together winemakers, cellar crews, viticulturists and industry partners to unwind after harvest and bookend a busy week that began with the 42nd Annual Santa Barbara Vintners Festival on October 17.
Roughly 35 winemakers, winery owners and industry partners attended the happy hour, which offered a relaxed setting for women across Santa Barbara County and the broader Southern California wine community to connect, share stories from the 2026 vintage, and build relationships that extend well beyond the cellar. Santa Barbara County is widely recognized for having one of the highest shares of women lead winemakers in California, and the event was designed to celebrate that legacy while supporting the next generation of talent.
