August 25, 2026 (Langenlonsheim, Germany) — The Filtration Division of power management company, Eaton, will present an extensive range of filtration products at the SIMEI trade show in Milan, Italy, from November 17 to 20 (booth D10, hall 1). The exhibition program includes various BECO® and BECOPAD® filter media products that reliably remove colloids, suspended particles, yeasts and bacteria for excellent taste of premium wines. Optimally combined, they prevent early clogging of the end filters, resulting in more efficient wine production.

One highlight from Eaton’s range of filtration solutions will be the new BECO® Helix depth filter cartridges, a revolutionary solution for liquid filtration. This innovative filter cartridge technology delivers twice the depth filter effect, significantly higher particle-holding capacity, and more than 40% longer service-life compared to standard pleated depth filter cartridges. These performance advantages are made possible by the unique helix wrapping of the pleated, particularly thin and graded polypropylene fleece layers. The innovative structure maximizes the effective filter surface area and enables optimal flow with low pressure differentials. The funnel effect and high mechanical stability make BECO Helix depth filter cartridges highly suitable for backwashing. The fine fleece layers provide reliable separation in particle, clarifying and fine filtration, while also protecting downstream membrane filter cartridges.

Also on display will be the three latest product developments of Eaton stacked disc cartridges. Designed for at least 20 regeneration cycles, the extra robust and backflushable BECODISC® R+ range provides a long service life and can be flexibly reused for the filtration of different wines. In Eaton’s double-layer stacked disc cartridge ranges, BECODISC BXS and BX3, two different depth filter sheets are used to carry out pre-filtration and fine filtration at specifically adapted retention rates in a single housing. For applications that require strong decolorization abilities and adsorptive removal of undesired by-products, along with taste, odor and color correction, the new BECODISC BC activated carbon stacked disc cartridge range is available.

All BECODISC stacked disc cartridges and BECO filter cartridges can be used in a wide variety of stacked disc cartridge housings and filtration systems, including BECO INTEGRA® DISC housings, BECO INTEGRA CART housings and Eaton’s manual or fully automatic StepFlow® filtration systems.
