Leading fine wine publication strengthens its European editorial expertise with expanded regional coverage across France.

June 11, 2026 (Boulder, CO) — Noted wine critic Jeb Dunnuck, founder of JebDunnuck.com, announced the addition of two highly respected wine professionals to its growing team of contributors and critics: Andy Chabot, who will cover the wines of Languedoc and Roussillon, and Kate Janecek, who will focus on Chablis and the Loire Valley.
These additions reflect JebDunnuck.com’s continued commitment to delivering in-depth, regionally focused coverage of the world’s most dynamic wine regions, featuring experienced voices with deep industry knowledge and on-the-ground expertise. “I’ve long admired the way Andy and Kate approach wine. Both have extensive tasting
experience, deep knowledge of their regions, and the kind of honest, unvarnished perspective our readers value,” said Jeb Dunnuck, Founder and Publisher of JebDunnuck.com. “As collectors continue to discover the depth and value these regions offer, I’m excited to bring two professionals of their caliber onto the team.”
Andy Chabot – Languedoc and Roussillon

Andy Chabot joins JebDunnuck.com as the publication’s critic covering the Languedoc and Roussillon. Chabot began his career in the service side of hospitality, studying at the Culinary Institute of America before refining his palate and career through roles at some of the country’s most respected wine programs, including Blackberry Farm in Tennessee, where he continues to play an active leadership role.
At Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain, he serves as Senior Vice President of Food and Beverage, overseeing hospitality strategy, wine programming, and culinary operations across the acclaimed properties. Throughout his career, Chabot has developed a deep passion for and expertise in Rhône varieties, helping shape one of the country’s most distinguished Rhône-focused cellars.
That expertise translates directly to the Languedoc and Roussillon, where Rhône varieties dominate. Chabot has extensively tasted across both regions and brings a strong sense of the established estates as well as the new generation of producers reshaping the south of France.
In addition to his ongoing work at Blackberry Farm, Chabot will provide comprehensive coverage of the Languedoc and Roussillon for JebDunnuck.com, highlighting both established estates and emerging producers in one of France’s most dynamic and evolving wine regions.
Kate Janecek – Chablis and the Loire Valley

Kate Janecek will join JebDunnuck.com as a critic covering Chablis and the Loire Valley. Janecek brings nearly two decades of experience in the fine-wine industry, including roles at four of the United Kingdom’s leading wine merchants and distributors: Acker, Berry Bros. & Rudd, Goedhuis Waddesdon, and Justerini & Brooks.
Since entering the fine wine trade in 2007, Janecek has developed deep expertise in French wine and has also operated her own wine-buying consultancy. In January 2024, she relocated to Bordeaux to lead the buying department at U’wine.
Her extensive market knowledge, buying experience, and passion for cooler-climate wines uniquely position her to cover Chablis and the Loire Valley, two of France’s most important and terroir-driven regions.
Coverage from both critics will roll out in stages. Janecek’s first reports from Chablis are expected this fall, while Chabot’s coverage of the Languedoc and Roussillon will begin in early 2027. Their work will appear alongside the publication’s existing global coverage of Bordeaux, Champagne, Italy, Spain, California, Washington State, and beyond.
The additions do not affect existing assignments across the team. Dunnuck will continue to focus on wines from California, Southern France, and Bordeaux. Audrey Frick will continue to cover Sonoma, Willamette Valley, Italy, and Champagne. Virginie Boone will continue to cover Spain, Argentina, and the California regions of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Santa Lucia Highlands, Sierra Foothills, and Mendocino. Antoine Pétrus will continue to cover Corsica and Bandol.
Dunnuck’s goal with JebDunnuck.com is to provide insight and up-to-date wine information that can’t be found anywhere else. “I want to be the go-to publication that helps consumers cut through the marketing and spin to zero in on what’s in the glass. I plan to continue delivering the information consumers need when deciding what to buy and drink.”
