February 4, 2026 (Windsor, CA) — Vinoshipper, the compliance-driven direct sales platform for beverage alcohol producers, has released its 2026 National Direct Sales Cider Report. Now in its third year, the report combines transactional data from cider producers using Vinoshipper with insights from those who identified as cider producers in the company’s annual industry survey.
The 2026 cider report reinforces a theme found across Vinoshipper’s reporting: no two businesses operate the same way. Even with similar inputs, outcomes often differ, and that variation is part of what defines the category. The data is best used as a reference point.
“Although ‘Vino’ is in our company’s name, we recognize cideries as the distinct businesses that they are,” says Taylor Harrison, Analyst at Vinoshipper. “Each year we gain a deeper understanding of the category, and we’re glad to share that with the industry.”
Key insights
- Half of surveyed cider producers reported sales growth in 2025, with the next largest group reporting flat performance.
- Club adoption reached its highest level in six years of tracking.
- Price per liter increased in 2025 to nearly $15 per liter, the highest in the six years we’ve tracked.
