Family-Owned Calistoga Winery Joins Wine Train Collective, Returns to Public Tasting Experience
Calistoga, Calif. – (May 27, 2025) – Kenefick Ranch, a family owned and operated vineyard located in Napa Valley’s northernmost American Viticultural Area (AVA) – Calistoga, today announced it has joined the wine collective at the Calistoga Depot. This marks the winery’s return to a public tasting room experience—now conveniently located in downtown Calistoga—where guests can enjoy its acclaimed portfolio in a dynamic, collaborative setting.
“We are thrilled to join the Calistoga Depot Wine Train Collective. This new tasting space allows us to connect with both longtime fans and first-time visitors alike, while sharing the Kenefick family story,” said Chris Kenefick, CEO and second-generation proprietor of Kenefick Ranch. “It’s an exciting step for us to once again share a selection of our portfolio in a way that highlights the meticulous vineyard management and handcrafted winemaking techniques that we have perfected over generations.”
Located on Lincoln Avenue in Downtown Calistoga, the Wine Train Collective offers curated wine tasting experiences in refurbished vintage train cars that house tasting rooms and artisanal shops. As part of the collective’s selections, visitors have the option to sample a dedicated Kenefick Ranch flight or explore a mix of wines from other featured Napa Valley producers. The Kenefick Ranch offerings include Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pickett Road Red, and Merlot.
