FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS (April 21, 2025)Heath Family Brands continues its streak of excellence at the Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition, earning an impressive 17 new 90+ point scores, including two Platinum medals (94 points each) and Best in Show honors in two major categories.

Building on last year’s strong performance—where Heath Family Brands received 14 Gold medals/90+ scores—the 2025 results further affirm the winery’s unwavering commitment to crafting world-class wines.

2025 Winemaker Challenge Highlights:

    • Best Tannat – Heath Family Estate 2021 The Individualist (Texas Hill Country) – Gold, 92 points

  • Heath Sparkling Wines Adoration 2021 (American) – Platinum, 94 points
  • Kuhlman Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 (Alexander Valley) – Platinum, 94 points

This year marks a significant milestone for Kuhlman Estate, which earned its first-ever 90+ point scores, while Heath Sparkling Wines’ Adoration achieved its highest rating to date with an outstanding 94 points. Kuhlman Estate was purchased last year by Heath Family Brands.

With these latest accolades, Heath Family Brands’ portfolio now boasts an impressive 216 wines awarded 90 points or higher, a testament to the vision, precision, and passion of winemaker Jason Englert and his dedicated team.
