Dallas, TX (August 8, 2024) — The TEXSOM Conference announces that Grand Tasting tickets are now available for purchase. The TEXSOM Grand Tasting and Awards Reception celebrates the end of the annual conference with over 200 wines at Irving Convention Center on Tuesday, August 27th from 6:00 – 8:00pm. Grand Tasting and Awards Reception tickets allow admission to the Grand Tasting only and do not include seminars or lunches. A limited number of tickets are available for purchase this year for $150.
Full Conference Passes are still available for $525 and include a choice of seminars and lunch each day, full access to all six EXPO tastings, and admission to the Diversity & Opportunity Reception, Authors’ Meet and Greet, and Grand Tasting and Awards Reception.
The TEXSOM Conference will take place August 25 – 27, 2024, at Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas, Texas.
Conference registration includes a choice of 18 different seminars presented by over 30 leading subject matter experts and a selection from 12 sponsored lunch sessions that include educational presentations.
TEXSOM 2024 will include presentations from Master Sommeliers, Masters of Wine, Certified Wine Educators, WSET professionals, and other industry experts. Seminars will include regional spotlights, variety intensives, and industry and sommelier roundtable discussions.
TEXSOM 2024 Education Partners include the Court of Master Sommeliers-Americas, Ethics Suite, GuildSomm International, Merendino Foundation, Society of Wine Educators, SommFoundation, The Institute of Masters of Wine, World Tea Expo, and WSET. On Sunday afternoon, August 25th, in advance of main conference events, the Society of Wine Educators will host two certification exams and a members’ happy hour. The Institute of Masters of Wine will offer an Introduction to IMW informational session.
On Monday evening, August 26th, TEXSOM will present an Authors’ Meet & Greet, which will include the relaunch celebration of Classic Wine Library under Academie du Vin Library. On Tuesday, August 27th, TEXSOM will host the Diversity & Opportunity Reception, showcasing SommFoundation, Diversity in Wine Leadership, BIPOC wineries, and several educational organizations.
